DIY Button Earrings
I'm really not an accessory type of girl... Like really at all! Some simple stud earrings and a nice watch is enough for me. But I couldn't resist trying these fabric button earrings. Of course I made them to sell them on my Poshmark( for orders contact me ) and here's how its done.
You'll need
-ANY fabric of your choice
-Cover buttons (Cover Button Kit
)
-glue(I used e600) (E6000
)
- earrings backs ( Clear Rubber Backs
)
-earring posts (
Earring Posts
)
I know it seems like a lot of stuff compared to my other DIYs but I promise it is not costly AT ALL. Below are the products I used and links to where I purchased them.
So depending on the size or button snaps you purchased depends on how big you cut the fabric you have. You want to have a little access fabric because cutting it too small may result in the fabric coming off.
Your button set should come with a small rubber circle piece. This will help you apply the fabric and the snap that goes behind it to hold the fabric in place. Then taking your glue apply the earring post to the back of your button. Let it dry and that's it!! You've got cute one of a kind button earrings.
Sounds confusing? If you purchased the cover button kit you'll know what I mean. Otherwise you can check out my video
