DIY Lace and Studded Shorts

I went through a crazy "stud everything" phase. I still love studded clothing, I just don't do much DIY'S with them like I used too. But here's some lace and studded shorts you can try!

Things you'll need
- shorts
-scissors
-lace
-e6000 glue, fabric glue or needle and thread
-studs

As always I won't leave you hanging here's the links to the items I used. For this DIY I used Aileen's fabric glue, but e6000 will work or you can choose the non lazy way and sew lol.

First you can add the studs if you choose to. I just applied them randomly to one side of the shorts. Before you apply the studs it's a good idea to put some form of glue on the spot first then put the stud on. This just adds extra support so the studs won't come off. Evernthough the studs have prongs from my experience they still tend to come off without glue. I used e6000 for that part.

Next I took a piece of lace which I cut from a shirt I dont wear( you can purchase at a fabric store). I measured the piece making it slightly bigger than the part of the shorts I was applying it too. Then you can choose to sew or glue like I did ;)

See kids it's that easy!

DIY Fringe Shirt

Got a Tshirt, scissors and about 10 minutes....

Here ya go!

Super simple and cute DIY  Fringe Shirt

STEPS
\I cut off the seams from the sleeves and the bottom part of my shirt. I also made mine an off the shoulder shirt (optional) by cutting off the neckline.
Next I cut slits from the bottom of the shirt going up to desired length. Then you simply stretch out all the slits you cut, tie little knots on the end and your done!!

TIPS
*Make fringes longer by cutting the slits higher.
*Add some beads to the ends for a little extra flair

As usual  the video of this DIY is on my YouTube --DIY FRINGE SHIRT

Spiked Beanie and Gloves

Winter is definitely around the corner! So if you want a cute and simple way to spice up those plain hats and gloves through some spikes on that bishhhhh lol
I basically used spikes, e6000 glue and gloves and beanie of my choice. The gloves and beanie were $1 each and I purchased the spikes and glue on amazon. Click titles if you want to purchase :)

SZD 100pcs/set 9.5mm Silver Cone Spikes

I made tiny hole in the area of the glove and beanie where I wanted the spike at. Pushed the flat screw part through the back and before screwing in the spike part I applied E6000 glue on the screw part. The glue just assures that your screws will stay put, continue until you are satisfied with your pattern. It's super simple!

I also have a video on youtube showing you in case the instructions were confusing ;)

Tribal shorts

So the whole distressed, crazy print bleached shorts fad took over summer... And its still not letting up. Personally I don't wear much shorts unfortunately I hate my legs. Buutttttt I love creating them!

Although fall is here and winter is right around the corner, you can always prep for next summer and start spicing up those shorts! You will definitely see a lot of DIY shorts  over in these parts lol and here is my take on some tribal print shorts. All you need are some shorts, a fabric marker and imagination (aka Google) Or better yet YouTube since I've actually made a video on DIY shorts using a fabric marker... Shameless plug :)Anyway here they are, super easy and fun to make. These are just using the fabric marker, which by the way you can use on all fabric and actually wash. The marker won't run or ruin your clothes when you wash them either. Oh did I mention how damn cheap they are to make?

So I basically winged it and just drew a tribal design on my shorts. You can either print out a tribal design and use as a stencil or look up a design and copy or use for inspiration. Take your time drawing the design because once you draw a line there's no turning back and it won't erase.

Have fun guys, and the link to my YouTube is DIY TRIBAL SHORTS
